James Rogers is a geologist by training and a computer specialist by default. He received an MS in Geology from Colorado State University in 1989, a BA in Geology from the University Tennessee, Knoxville in 1983 and is currently glad to have nothing to do with higher education.
He spent the first two years of his professional life as a gold exploration geologist in northern Nevada. Since then he has worked in the environmental consulting industry in Denver, Colorado. He specializes in site investigation, contaminant distribution analysis, and remedial methodology evaluation and selection. He primarily uses Perl and the PM Diamond software suite developed by Dr. Willem Schreuder of NetPERLs for data analysis and numerical modelling.
James is the Director of Operations at NetPERLs and responsible for the day to day operations of the company. James is also the primary web page developer for NetPERLs.
